Hehe I looked those up and fortunately I don’t think that’s it – they seem to only be found in the US (I’m UK, woo!) and they have diagonal v-shaped markings on which are absent from my critters. I’m thinking maybe cabbage white butterfly?? LikeLike Reply
They’re not large whites, the caterpillars of those have black on them. Small whites caterpillars are green but I don’t know if they eat tomato. You could try looking here- http://www.ukbutterflies.co.uk/species_family.php?name=all&stage=larva Lots of the caterpillars look similar but it tells you what they eat which should give you a clue.
