No longer Gormless

It’s been a weekend packed full of flat packed furniture. We made a late night Friday trip to Ikea (rock on) to pick up a few bits, one of which was the Ikea ‘Gorm’ unit. http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/categories/departments/secondary_storage/10898/

It’s a very simple pine shelving unit which is ideal for storing all our garage rubbish – bliss after the state it had been in for the last few weeks. We picked up two of the wider-shelved ones and assembled them Saturday morning in the glorious sunshine. They’re cheap and cheerful, a little on the irritating side to put together as it involves essentially balancing all the shelves on their sides and screwing the side bars onto them. As you can imagine, the wind kept blowing them over. Anyway, a good simple shelf unit and we will buy more – we’re going to need the extra space for storing all our garden produce/homebrew/preserves….2014-05-18 16.53.21
